When starting any weight loss, be sure to take your measurements before you start and as you go through it! These, and how you feel and how your clothes fit, are a better gauge of how your weight loss journey is progressing than just relying on the scale! Muscle weighs more than FAT, so you might be losing the weight, but it not yet show up on the scale, especially if you’re working out at the same time!
While you can go crazy with the measurements you take, I recommend only a few:
These will give you a good picture of the changes your body is experiencing! Here’s a record I created for you!
ViSi Trimma, has amazing Health Benefits to existing conditions! So, why ViSi Trimma for Diabetics?
I’ll let Dr.Rouse explain!
Diabetes is a chronic disease characterized by high blood sugars (hyperglycemia), other metabolic abnormalities, and complications in many systems and organs. In Type II diabetes, insulin becomes “resistant” and does not do its job.
One of the goals of diabetes management is to keep the hemoglobin A1c concentration (a measure of long-term sugar control) as low as possible without causing hypoglycemic episodes. When insulin becomes resistant, the blood pressure rises, the cholesterol goes up, the triglycerides rise, the blood platelets become too sticky and the obesity sets in; especially the mid-section. In addition to the chronic degenerative problems, the diabetes causes many other metabolic abnormalities such as neuropathy (nerve disease), retinopathy (eye disease) and nephropathy (kidney disease), free radical advanced aging, and hardening of the arteries. Because diet, exercise and weight loss are imperative to better health in a diabetic, Visi Trimma gets many of the systems working in behalf of the diabetic.
Trimma improves insulin sensitivity by facilitating the binding of insulin to its receptor sites for better use. This is called Glucose Tolerance Factor (GTF). Visi Trimma is a good GTF. Trimma also enhances specialized enzymes to assist in glucose (sugar) metabolism. The ingredients are designed to reduce c-Reactive Protein that causes inflammation in the arteries and organs. Trimma provides sufficient magnesium supplies to keep the muscles strong and active with much less chance of cramping. L-carnitine keeps the fat out of the blood and decreases fasting glucose levels. Other nutrients in the Trimma increase capillary strength thus lessening the chances of bruising and blood clots. One of the major benefits of the ingredients in Trimma that are known as flavonoids is their ability to inhibit aldose reductase, an effect that helps prevent diabetic complications.
Suggestions for Diabetics:
Weight loss if overweight.
Avoid high fructose sucrose and other refined sugars.
Eat low glycemic foods (rated 50 and below on the Glycemic Index).
Intake high quality protein diet: fish, eggs, low fat meats, chicken and real butter (never margarine). Also important are healthy fats, such as olive oil and flax seed oil.
Remember that processed and fast foods have a significantly higher glycemic index. Things like factory-processed foods, corn chips, cornflakes, instant potatoes are at the top of the do not list. Eating a gluten free diet preserves the beta cell function that is responsible for insulin production.
